here's picture. Still going strong at 35,000 miles of use. because of the instant low end torque, it will absolutely kill CI built n/a motor. Ask mw how I know, lol. the tune is addressed during install, other than a good Crane HI4 ignition, everthing is covered and what is needed to retune stock carb is included. It starts as good and as easily as any stock bike. I highlt rec this kit and promise you won't be un-happy. Some of the above stated worries, are true for a drag set-up, but no worry running a Hot street kit. Oh yea, i do have a dedicated blower cam for better efficancy, but not needed. Actually, no mechanical motor mods are needed, other than the included tune changes and a good ign, it is totally bolt on.

I'd have to stay away from something like boost on a bike. Too much trouble for me

Hawkman,
tell your buddy its a no brainer. I have a '03 DWG to which i added a Magnacharger to in 2004. The bike went from 60 rwhp to 99rwhp (dinoed at the local harley dealer). the unit now has over 18000 miles on it with absolutely no problems, zero, zip, nada.
I reciently sent it back to Magnacharger to be upgraded from 8lbs of boost to 16lbs. It's a real deamon.

That's exactly what I am looking to do. I also plan on adding meth/water injection for the higher boost. Do you have any pics? and/or more info on your upgrades?

For those reading along, the MagnaCharger will be set up for your needs. This means if your adding to a bone stock bike, the boost will be kept safe, so no worries. A stock motor really only needs ign upgrading, good exhaust (I have RhineHart true duals) a safe tune and premium gas. From there, and upping the boost, a larger fuel supply line and retune will be needed, then of course depending on the amount of boost increase we need to start thinking about internal engine mods and meth injection to keep intake charge cool.

Just look at all the cars these days getting blowers, like the Cobra, the ZR1, numerous trucks... The tech is here to do it safely, no doubt.
