On my 2013 Dyna SG the cat is in the muffler....I looked. Aftermarket mufflers typically have no cats. The header pipe is just a pipe.

2012 dyna switchback ... cat is in collector where 2 goes into 1 right before the slip-on muffler

True...just ordered a set of Samson Legend Street Sweepers so I can lose the stock 2 into 1. Crappy sound and the heat off the collector is enough to fry your boot! Still trying to decide on AC...go with SE stage 1 or something else???
