once you do the intake, tuner and pipes, nothing really comes cheap,

next step is cams, and at that point might as well go with higher compression pistons, and since the heads are off anyways its a good time to do headwork, thats why i say nothing comes too cheap

just a set of screamin eagle performance cams will be ok, but if wanting alot of power, save some cash and do everything at once

80hp is pretty easy to get without stressing the motor too much, and 80 hp on a sporty would be alot of fun

98 Evo 83.5ci, custom cam, 44cv, lightened ballanced crank, H-Beam rods, beehive springs, tapered pushrods, johnson hylift lifters, SE slip-ons no baffle, 101.78 hp @ 6200rpm

If your already going down this road ya might as well do the 1200 kit and call it a day.

Hell, why not go whole hog? For 1200 bucks you can do the 88" or 90" kit, click on the engine kits on the link Chris posted.

I did all the stuff you did to my 2010 883. Wound up trading it on a 2012 FXDC. Now I have the power and a more comfortable ride.
