An optical illusion

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift."
A. Einstein

If you look at the above images from your seat in front of the computer, Mr. Angry is on the left, and Ms.Calm is on the right.

Get up from your seat, and move back 12 feet, and PRESTO!! they switch places!!

It is said this illusion was created by Phillippe G.Schyns and Aude Oliva of the University of Glasgow .

Does this prove that we sometimes may not be seeing what's actually there?

These things are so cool and knock you down a notch if you think you can not be fooled by them.

BlaaaaaHaaaaaaa

That's like the quote from Mrs Doubtfire

"My husband's dead, dear. It was the drink that killed him"

"Oh, I'm sorry. Was he an alcoholic ?"

"No dear - he got hit by a Guinness truck"

Generally speaking, you don't die on motorcycles.

You die a few yards away from what's left of them.

Yes, I have had two bottles of wine. What the fukk is your problem

Very true quote - ol' Albert was one smart dude!

Interesting thought - sometimes people are not what they project themselves to the outside world to be...

Dear Bill,
Please, if you ever decide to look at the pictures again, use the following alternative viewing procedure.

"Option 1. Just look at this picture on your computer screen and vary the distance from which you look at it. For some people, even squinting or narrowing your eyes will work."

I would hate to feel even remotely responsible for your demise.

It wouldn't be your fault... It would be Max's... His site, right? He'd get the hospital bill.
