Exclamation Nail Polish Crash - Awareness Ride & Protest (October 8, 2009)

http://www.blacknailbrigade.org

Lora L. Hunt of Morris, IL has been indicted by grand jury on 6 counts of Reckless Homicide. October 8, 2009 is her arraignment date and the only date that we know will be firm in order to get a massive presence and make a statement. Future trial dates can be subject to postponements, etc. I will be contacting every press contact I can.

Basically, the indictment means they have deemed our case worthy of a trial. By no means are we guaranteed of a conviction nor appropriate sentencing. We will probably be in for the long haul if there is a trial.

Come out & support our family & more importantly be a part the fight against intentionally impaired, distracted, reckless driving at the arraignment of Lora Hunt, who rear-ended & killed my mom, Anita Zaffke, at 50 mph at a stoplight because she admittedly was painting her nails.

Awareness Ride & Protest Details

Meeting Point: 7AM to 8AM
- behind Wauconda IL Walgreens in empty parking lot (west of rte 12/176 intersection)

Awareness Ride: 8AM to 9AM
- proceed to crash site at Rte 12 & Old McHeny Rd
- North on Midlothian Rd, Peterson Rd, Rte 45, Rte 120, to courthouse.

Lake County Couthouse (Waukegan, IL) & Arraignment: 9AM to 12PM
- We will circle the courthouse several times before parking.
- Park in spots on N County St or MLK Jr Ave (bring quarters)
- Please feel free to join us at the courthouse if you can't make the ride.

Please email me at greg@blacknailbrigade.org if you can join us.

Or if you're on Facebook, go to http://www.facebook.com/event.php?ei...4919&ref=share and join the event there.

Thank you Justin, I appreciate it.

Tell everybody you know. We need to show people these incidents can't be buried or allowed to just fade into the background anymore.

Thanks for your support! See you October 8.

Can't make it to the ride but wanted to to sorry for your loss and we will pray for your cause. Good luck and keep us posted on the outcome. Even though it will be hard to endure, if you can keep it from happening again, you have won.

Hi Greg,
I am sorry to hear about your mom. I wish I could make the ride, but I will do what I can, such as adding it to my FB account.

I'm very sorry about your mother. My parents live right by you, on Coral Reef Way. I almost flipped out at work reading the news story. I'm living in Germany, otherwise I'd be there!

Greg. i'm heartened by the fact that the justice system has taken the proper approach in this regard. You and your family deserve a swift and final resolution to this tragedy...i've been wondering for weeks what the status of this case was, and now i know.
God bless you and your family in this difficult time. I have faith that that justice will prevail....greg R.

Greg, I am very sorry about your Mom...I remember reading the news for the first time, I just couldn't believe it.

I won't be able to make the ride, but is there anything else I can do to help? Is there a petition or anything?

Greg, I've been reading this trying to figure out something profound and meaningful to say and in all honesty there is absolutely nothing I can say to take your pain away, if I could you would be pain free. Sorry for your loss may you and your family find some peace in time.
