cancer sux!

Went on my first long ride today. the 6th anual cancer sux poker run. very nice run. around 150 miles. did 220 befor day was done. funny actualy friday I was nervious about riding in traffic and today I was in a group of 20 bikes. Never was anxious the whole ride. I got home at 10 pm and did some nite riding, it was nice. all in all it was a good ride, supporting cancer research. plan on doing it again next year.

post script: I am thinking on a tach for the sporty, as I was on a off ramp, I lost track of which gear I was in. mainly when there were louder bikes near. I think a tach will help.
a little sun burnt.

Sounds like a good and very worthy cause/ride and seems like You had a good time of it.
It seems that even with a tach.I am still upshifting looking for more gears,Maby a 10 speed or more transmission would help.
Big city traffic intimidates the crap out of Me but I know if I`m in the midst of the "Herd" I would ride with ease.
