This painting is being raffled off. It's 24x30 inches. It's not finished yet, I've been painting on it each week at Quaker Steak's Bike night. Since this is to honor the memory of my dad, and to benefit Hospice, the painting is called "Daddy's Girl." I bought this bike because it was the exact same colors as my dad's 58 Ford Fairlane. This would be the bike that my dad would have bought if he bought one.

I hope all you local herdies can make it out...it's going to be a great night at the Lube! LIVE music from Selective Memory (awesome) and 50/50, Silent Auction and prizes from 6-10 NEXT FRIDAY, 11-6.

I've learned that the best way to deal with grief is to do something amazing that helps others. 11-6 it will be 2 years to the day I lost my daddy. But this event will help MANY! Hope you all can make it.

It's really gonna hurt to give it up. But I think of the reason I painted it. Just knowing it's going to help, soothe and comfort...makes me happy. I even made up a nice BIG biker basket with all kinds of handmade items from really talented kindhearted people. This event can't NOT be a success... it already is. I've raised over $150 and haven't had the event yet. =0) THANKS...more than you know.

Anything to keep your Daddy's memory alive is worth more than money can buy and it goes for a good cause! I lost my Dad 18yrs ago and every time I get on Ruby I think of him because he loved Baggers.

oh...thank you for the kind words. I just can't get over the heartbreak. This helps a lot...but still feel like I'm dying inside. Sorry about your dad, ruby. So sorry. Hate to be a bummer when we're usually having so much fun in here. But it's getting close to that day. 2 years 11-6. just miss him so much.

Thanks Rocker...thank you V. I never expected when I joined this to meet such incredibly compassionate people. All wackiness aside... it feels like family. I'm still new, but when I need cheering up...I just jump online and join in on all the silliness and just LMAO. It's great!
