Would you be interested in a HD-Forums Rally?

Just checking the pulse right now

Please add any suggestions for dates and locations to your reply - also if you would be interested in making / assisting with arrangements

Yes sir, sure would depending on date/location.

I know I read in another thread the suggestion of early spring but I'd like to offer early summer for consideration. First, we have some northern members that may still be having pretty bad weather and be unable to ride to a gathering if it is held in early spring. Second, I know we have at least one teacher on board here. Teachers and any other profession tied to a school year won't be able to attend until school is out for the summer.

Location wise I'd personally like to visit the Four Corners area or at least some place out west with cool scenery (Colorado for example). But while that's my personal choice it might not be the logical choice. It'd work for western and even mid-western folks but it'd be all but impossible for any east coast people to make it. Again, trying to make the gathering accessible to the largest number of people maybe we should consider something more central to the majority of members.

We'll never be able to accommodate everyone's requirements of time/location but we should try to shoot for the largest number possible.

Things like early spring dates and far west locations might be better handled with mini-gatherings. That's what I'm planning on doing. I'll be heading to the gulf again this year and would like to also visit Colorado. Before leaving on trips I always post my plans so that I might get the opportunity to meet members along the way and at the final destination. This is what's great about forums like this. You get an opportunity to actually meet others that you have something in common with.

Anyway, that's my thoughts. Who's next?

The first weekend in May is always Junction, TX at the Lazy T. Three or four days of riding the Holy Threes (the Twisted Sisters) and 16 and that area.

The last week of June is my week to take the cancer kids to camp.

Other than that, I can be pretty flexible.
