Lunch in Mena,Ark. on Thursday...
Anybody up for a ride...thinking about riding the Talimena Dr. On thur. Anybody what to go or meet for lunch...

I rode from Antlers to Mena via Talimena Drive a month ago. I'd be up for doing it again if I wasn't 1300 miles away. 
Ever eaten at the Chopping Block in Mena? Great food.

Going to be in the high 70's on Thursday...great day to ride...will be riding the drive and doing some eating to...times are open now, will see if anyone can make the ride and will go from there....

Queen Wilheimena Lodge is closed for remolding...they tore the old one down to the studs and are re-doin it from the ground up...closed till next year or the year after...but have had some Ice cream before at the train station before...

At the train station was were I meant. The lodge was closed last time I was there too.
I have to check into it, next year Vikki and I would like to camp on the trail someplace.
Not at the lodge campgrounds but at one of the wide spots along the trail instead. Not sure if that is allowed or not.

I think you can camp..I have seen people camping just about anywhere up there...just off in the woods..just pic a spot and head off in the woods...just yall and the bears...
