Converging on Kentucky
ok y'all here's the deal.
I have been talking with a few buddys and we are trying to put together a ride for this fall in Kentucky. Not sure of a date yet....still working on the details. But here is the basic plan....
everybody rides in from wherever to Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley on Friday, we set up campsites friday evening, have some eats and comence to drinking. Saturday morning, we get up, saddle up and ride through the land between the lakes. nice smooth slightly curvy flat roads. north end to the south and back. Saturday night, we continue with the drinking and partying where we left off Friday night. Sunday morning, we get up, coffee up to shake off hang-overs, pack up, saddle up, and head back out merry ole ways.
If anyone is interested in meetin up with us, let me know. I'll try to get a full plan put together asap. Probably looking at the biginning to mid October time frame, maybe a little sooner.
anyone interested?

Seems they just recovered from the "las time" you were there.

Let us know the details. Maybe some of us can meet on the road. My Grandfather was from Kentucky. His Father was killed in a Coal Mine. His Mother, my Greatgrandmother, ran a still for awhile to keep the family with 11 children afloat. After she died of TB all the kids were sent to other relatives and my Grandfather at 17 hoped Frieght Trains until he ended up in Wilminton Delaware. Said it was the prettiest town he ever saw. One big Ghetto continuation of Philly and Chester now. Anyway, my Mom went back to visit some kin folk we have there. Pretty interesting.
