I do not know if anyone else runs into this but I have torqued the knurled bolts down on my toe and heel shifters with some lock tight and after a while they loosen up and I end up replacing the the bolts. This is a little more frequent than I care for. I have checked the spline for wear it appears fine, this is a bit of a pain in the ass. Anybody with a good remedy? Also has anyone stripped one out and what was the best method to remove it. I tried to grip it with a pair of vice grips but I do not want to completely damage it or break the head off.Somebody recommended the next size up hex and a hammer but I do not want to damage the spline.
