Looking for a Jack

Have a 2006 Road King Classic, been searching for a jack. Have narrowed it down to 2.

The Craftsman Professional/Yellow aluminum
The Larin MAL-2

Both are in the same price range and would like to hear from owners of both.

I like the J&S and Pit Bull, I just can't come up with the $350/$450.

I have the same bike. I own the Craftsman ATV/Bike jack (Red & Black). I use it to hold the bike when I wash it, making it easier to clean those freak'in spoke wheels & white walls. Servicing of the bike and changing the tires out w/this jack is easy, stable & safe. The jack works without any issues. I've even used it to lift my Kubota RTV, which is probably close to max weight capacity. At $100. on sale, I don't think you can beat it.

I have the Craftsman jack and the only gripe I would is that it seems a bit unstable at it's highest point.

I just don't raise it up that high and problem solved.

Good jack in my opinion.

I have the J&S. Worth the $$$$ if you can swing it. Used some of the others over the years and you can tell the difference. Couple of frozen pizzas and drink at home a few nights you can make up the extra.

I had the Craftsman and it was a very good jack. I just bought the Pitbull and it is night and day. If you can hold out a little longer and save up your pennies, get at Pitbull. It will be worth the weight. It is unbelievable how stable the jack is all the way up. You can sit on a bucket and clean the lower part of the bike with no problems.

I was a mechanic for many years, and have tried many. The simple bike lifts are ok, but for a couple of hundred more look at this Motorcycle Lift, Two Post Lift, Motorcycle Tire Changer
This uni9t gets the bike high and stable where you can do anything you need to, and can leave the tools and parts on it wyhile you are working on it making it a good working platform.

I am considering retiring here, and doing bike work again as a fun sideline, and this would make working more of a pleasure than a chore.
