HD Mid Frame Heat Shields and Stage1 Kit

We bought a 08 Ultra last month and had the chance to ride it several days before installing the stage 1 kit. We were in 95 to 100 degree heat and mostly in town so we got to see first hand the heat problem with the new bikes. Not unbearable but definitely uncomfortable. Installed the stage 1 kit with Rush slip-ons,remap and had the heat shields put on. Man what a difference My wife can wear shorts on the bike now even in town where before it was jeans and boots or a blistered right leg. Those who have ridden one of the new 96"s stock know just how much difference these upgrades have made.

Re-reading your note, I'm assuming the clear HD heat shields that fit under the seat.

The heat shields are HD black and mount mid frame under the seat. They really work.
