Edit:
Not lately, Because of the forum, I've always kinda been able to fund the best/correct thing I needed to be able to do something
In the past yes.
For other vehicles yes.
I also got a travel kit as a present and I like all of the products in it so I am gonna pry just get those produce from barley even though it will pry be a little more. None of the other products I have used yet have been quite as good so needless to say im impressed at the Harley stuff

Oh yeah.... Spend more than $40 on bags!! I needed them quick, and I guess I got my money out of them but I didn't have a chance to put mounts in so one melted to the pipe... always use a support! And leather is better.

I think we've all spent money on stupid chit, the wrong chit, or something. That's the nature of customizing a vehicle. I've done it with my bike and with my jeep. Luckily we have forums like this where we can get product reviews and hopefully learn from others' mistakes. But even then....it still happens.

I bought the tank bra. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how the heck to get the thing on. Spent about 15 min and decided to return it.
I clothe pinned HD playing cards to the spokes on my '03 but at around 50 they kept flying out. So after full 2 decks, I stopped trying....
