Last week I was in North Carolina and was able to swing a day ride from Goldsboro to Greenville then to Beaufort and Atlantic Beach. It was a glorious day. Tons of motorcycles, especially harleys on the road. You rebel boys sure love your harleys. Took in the NC Maritime museum which being for free, donations only, was outstanding having artifacts from the the Queen Anns revenge(Black Beards flag ship). There were many items of interest besides the Black beard display including a display of the indigenious poisonous snakes to the area. Them rattlesnakes are some eveil looking SOB's. Whats that saying about coral snakes ...red touches black friend of jack, red touches yellow kill a fellow? And there was a pretty good history of the types of fishing boats and outboard motors up through the ages.
Also went by Black beards house, he wasn't home.
I'll have pictures soon and when I do I will post them. Sure wished I lived in the land of cotton old times there are not forgotten look away look away look away dixie land!
