Wintertime Ride to the H-D Dealer

Seriously. Yesterday decided to record the ride from the driveway to the nearest H-D dealer 40 miles away. 35 degrees. Crunched the ride into a five minute vid...

The driveway
The county road
The highway
The backroads shortcut
The road hugging the mountain
The canyon
The interstate
The dealer parking lot

Yee ha! Clips from the vid:

So if you have nothin cookin like I obviously didn't, here's the link. Mary Chapin Carpenter's "I Am a Town" accompanies as well as the low Milwaukee rumble...

40 miles?.......I bet you got cold. I ride 30 miles round trip to work and back. Anything below 40 is too cold for me. On the days below that, I wish I would have drove the pickup. Come on Spring!~!

Thanks for the ride. Nothing like a ride video to inspire folks like me to get out there and ride. Very nice dealership you have there Steve.

Yes... Come on Spring! Thanks all... a good ride. Would mention it was 35 degrees at departure but a nice 50 at the lower altitude dealer. But by the time I had some lunchtime chow and returned, it was a brisk 30 up high on the return. Brrrrr.

Ed... It was a first test of the VHOLDR. Lesson learned from this recording was I need to raise the vertical slightly -- had the cam pointing downward a little too much, and there's no preview screen to know how things look! An understandable trade-off for the small form.
