Long Island to Woodstock
Road from Long Island, NY to Woodstock, NY on Saturday,
What a great day to ride. Took Whitestone Bridge to Huch, to Tacanic North to Route 55, Pakkeppsie (spelling is terible) to Mid County Bridge.
Followed road to Route 55 to 55A North to Woodstock. That Rt 55A has some great 'S' curves on it. You must go slow, around 30-35 due to some sand from the mountains on it.
Stopped by Woodstock Harley Davidson on the way home.
Some other routes we were on were 209, 237 and areas between Ellenville, Woodstock and Kingston. Also drove back past New Paltz. Lots of motorcycles in that upstate area.
Sorry I couldn't be more exact on the trail, will see if I can post some pics latter.
Best to all,
Leigh

All right Leigh! I've been on those roads many times and can vouch for the awesome ride! I stayed on the Island yesterday but cruised all over it. Like you said the weather was perfect. Post those pics if you get a chance.

There we are, rt 209 and rt 55A. The water falls are on Rt. 55A. I own the blue 2008 Ultra, Dale has the 2007 SE Ultra and Jeff has the 2006 Red Ultra. We used the cb 's all day, its a great advantage to talk to each other, especially when we make wrong turns.
Planning on next trip to Amherst, MA in 2 weeks, on May 2nd.

Saturday was great!
Yep, it was a great day to ride. I've ridden up in that area a few times also. Can't beat it. Unfortunately it's cold and rainy today, and Tuesday promises more or the same. But I hear the weekend is gonna be nice and warm again? Where to this time?

Where exactly is the 4th picture from? That looks like an awesome road to ride on.

I think its rt 44, between New Paltz & Kerhankson, near Grahamsville.

Actually, I think it's rt. 55. It was the road before we turned onto route 55A.
