Last ride of the year

Last ride of the year. We rode to Molly Browns Cafe. The wait to be seated was way too long, so we rode out past Barstow to Peggy Sue's Diner and had lunch. Then we rode back by taking Highway 247 to Lucerne Valley and taking Highway 18 to Bear Valley Rd. A beautiful day for a ride. Especially since it was December 29th. The rest of the country was in a deep freeze.

I took my last ride of the year a week before Thanksgiving, it was a Friday that reached 70. On our way home the bike became sluggish when cornering, felt like I was riding in sand. Come to find out, the air in my back tire had enough of captivit and made an escape. Thankful I was close to home and had time to trailer thr bike to the shop. $600 later, the King has new tires and is ready for next Spring.

One lifetime is not enough!

I am going out this afternoon between games for my last ride of the year, temps will be in the 50's. I going to ride over to the Bucksport Marina, I'll take a pic and post when I get there.

Yep I am itching for a last ride of the year. I better get going to the bar where I hang out 45 miles from Vegas shack, 20 miles from Pahrump shack. Here are some pictures I binged. I will let you know how many bikes I encounter today. Maybe take some pics of Harley's that brave the chill today.
