Epic rideblog, Across Canada, Alaska, USA, South Americato to Ushuaia, Argentina

I used to work with this guy, just found out he as embarked on a ride of a life time....riding a BMW R1200GS Adventure. He has taken a year off work to do this. He has a blog of the ride with some nice pictures and write up's of where he has been so far. I found it interesting and thought I would pass .Here is the link if your interested.....

That's awesome.
I've always wanted to ride down to the tip of south america from the states, not too keen on doing it alone though. I'd feel a bit better having someone around that I knew when I ran out of gas.

Thanks for the link. If one believes we're really collecting memories, not miles when we ride, then this trip will sure make many deposits into the memory bank account!

I heard that there're patches of the Panamerican Highway that are pretty rough... Wondering if anyone has done it all the way to Ushuaia in a Harley...?
