Everyone... thanks. It isn't that this is a consuming thing. Maybe once or twice a month I'll stir in a pause, or an explore as part of the ride. See if I can line things up. Sometimes I can't.
About six weeks ago I pulled over at Dumont, an exit off of I-70 west of Denver. Most of this old mining community has been swept up. If it wasn't for the backdrop of hills and slopes, I probably wouldn't have found where the photographer stood a century ago!

Turning the other direction, towards the south, the Dumont General Store, with the train depot in the background...
Today, a relocated Clear Creek alongside a sunken interstate, along with more forested fur on hilly slopes... yeah, a bit of a change...
