Ride and Camp in AZ
Looking to get out from the Phoenix area for a one nighter. I found a sweet spot about 100 miles north with some GREAT looking roads with curves but when I went to earth view, it was dirt about 15 miles out to the campsite. Screw that. Anyone know of a good ride with decent tent camping within reason of Phoenix? Looking for somewhere lower elevation. I know it's gonna be cold and I don't wanna completely freeze my nutz off!

Have you been down to the Ice caverns down near Tombstone? Plenty of camping around. Plus I highly recommend the cavern tours.

I live in AZ, but my camping is staying at a 3-star hotel. Here's a campground north of Roosevelt Lake. It's at 2200' so it's below the snow line.
Indian Point Campground

I would check out Tombstone and Bisbee. They are really awesome! You'll like the roads going to Bisbee and the night life is great there. Lots of history and culture. There is an old brewery that you can go to and sample all of the beers they make right there in house and then order the one you want and sit out on a nice deck overlooking the street. There are some pretty sweet bikes riding around that place too.

Ride up to Globe for lunch and eat at just about any Mexican food joint and you should be happy. The ride up there is a good one. There is camping all around as well. There is a good biker bar downtown called the drift inn.
