EDDIE BOGGS RIP "Ghost Riders Saloon"
looks like the Metal Rebel and the Ghost Rider Saloon will be no more. this is a sad day. brother EDDIE BOGGS past away today from natural causes. metal rebel was in winston salem nc and ghost riders was in elkin nc. 2 great places to eat for free and the beer was cold and cheap. eddie was survived by brothers all over the world along with is wife and other family members.

I just want to say thank you to all for your outstanding support and love for dad and our family, and thank you to everyone that participated in his life and truly made it special for him while he was on earth.
I just wanted to let everyone know that Ghostriders will be taken over by one of dad's very dear friends and it will continue to go on in his memory, this was his dream and we are going to make sure that it continues to go on the way he wanted it to. We have a couple of rides that will be coming up in the near future and I will make sure that I keep everyone informed of them and we hope to see you all there.

clumsy eddie
As a local that frequented Ghost Rider's,I've seen alot of humorous situations there,but one of the funniest was when Eddie was in the walk-in cooler.While standing on a make-shift pedistal and restocking beer,he slipped off and his foot went into a pot of pinto beans he had prepared and was going to serve that Sunday.Unfortunately Eddie did break his wrist,but this brother always did have an uncanny ability of bringing humor out of any situation,and he allowed that the beans would still be served and his foot would only give the beans a greater flavor.R.I.P. my friend.You brought out the best in eveyone and you are now,and always will be missed.

thank you for all your response.my name is diane boggs,
eddies wife.eddie loved to watch people eat his food that he cooked.
he was an awesome cook.come and join us sept 20th @ first christian church-kernersville n.c.@8:30 am for a home cooked breakfast.homemade biscuits-homemade gravy-scrambled eggs.country sausage-country ham-bacon-grits-hashbrowns.best part it is free.a ride to ghost riders saloon for a auction benefit and live band and free cookout...call me for details-336-345-0505 .thank you.eddie wanted this very much.......
