Need to replace the rear tire on my softail. Which tire is best or are they about the same? Not into bonzi runs just cruisin.

If you got a touring bike I like Dunlop, if you got a Softail or Dyna or something like that, I like Continental. I think they are good tires for the money.

Dunlop Elite3 seems to be a high mileage tire, according to some. I have a 404 on the rear now. Love the Avon in the rain, but only got 6500 miles out of it.

I went back with dunlop www on my deluxe I got 15,743 miles on the rear factory one that came on it new and have 21,358 miles on the front tire that will be replaced very soon. I live in the sticks way back in the country with curvey roads and I like the way dunlop handles them. Just make sure you keep the air right in them or they will get waves in them from gripping the curves.....
