14 in fattys on my bagger. best thing I ever did. no more backaches and can ride for hours without discomfort. as far as handeling I like it better seems more responsive to me. I suggest you go to a local dealer and check them out even off the bike. all have different angles and that can be a drastic difference. most of em had my elbows to far in.

do yourself a favor
only if you can
buy new tins for your bike
b4 carrying out your plan

the bike in all black
I will agree
will look very hot
but my advice you should heed

keep your stock tins stock
if they are in good form
save them till later
you can return the bike to norm

if you ever sell
the bike you own
the mods you make to it
will not the value grow

in other words, if you can afford to do so, paint new tins black and put on the bike. keep your stock tins put back, so if you ever have a change of heart, you can switch it all back. especially if you sell the bike. custome paint usually doesn't add much if any to the value, alot of times, the bike in stock condition is worth more. Plus, if you buy new tins, you aren't without your ride while painting it. paint the new tins then do the swap
