05 deluxe engine vibration need some advice

Unfortuneately I met the back end of a car doing 20 first accident on a street bike after riding for 30 years. I just got the 05 deluxe back and riding it home it felt as if I was getting vibration caused by the engine, hard to describe between 10-25. I don't remember having this before the bike seemed solid. It doesn't appear the shop changed any fluids when they had it. I think I am going to change them out but the vibration concerns me, any suggestions out there I know this isn't much info to go on. I called them today and the repair manager stated he didn't know from the accident what would cause this.

Ya , not enough info here . Did the dealer do a " frame up " or a complete front end replace or what ? Could be a ton of different things causing that vibration not even engine related .

Dealer replaced triple tree, forks, tire, rim and front fender. Didn't replace the propipe just the chrome covers and baffle chrome.

Was then frame checked via Comp-U-check, or "assumed" that it wasn't undamaged? Your insurance should have paid to have this checked....

If the frame was damaged, and your motor mounts, both lateral and vertical, are incorporated, a slight bend can throw everything off from the front to the rear and cause issues.

Comp-U-check is a frame alignment machine that can check frames with bikes both semi-disassembled and completely disassembled. We used them, out of Philly, PA when I raced......... and crashed......... {{frown}} It costs about $700 to have a frame checked but if you had an accident, your insurance has a liability to make sure your returned bike is like it was prior to the wreck, and not "assume" it's ok......based on someone's eyeball opinion.

Thanks for the information everyone. First thing I asked was about the frame and neck if they were cracked or if the frame was straight and of course you know the answer I received. I will ask the insurance adjuster if they insisted on a frame check and also ask the Harley dealership how they checked the frame for straightness.

In the Milwaukee area insurance companys insist that the frame be replaced if there is any visible damage , even damaged paint . If the cost of the frame up repair amounts to a predetermined % of the resale value of the cycle then it gets totaled .
The dealer's crash estimator will use the alignment tools to check the frame if they have reason to believe the frame might be out of wack . With the alignment tools in place and the alignment is found to be way out of wack it could be assumed the frame was bent or tweaked .
There is usually a hidden damage clause that covers something that wasn't caught during the estimate and repair that surfaces after the cycle is returned to the owner .

Took it for a ride yesterday and the vibration was gone, don't know why. The acceleration when over 30 and more aggressive the engine seems to bog down nothing like it was before don't understand this. The vibration is very confusing why it would just disappear. It hadn't been riden for 2 months while they were repairing the bike don't know if that had anything to do with it but now the acceleration is a concern any thoughts out there?
