Softail Deluxe wheels & tires

What is the widest rear tire anyone has installed on the rear of a 07 Softail Deluxe with little or no mods. What is biggest custom rear wheelsize with little or no mods I can install? Thanks!

It depends on a lot of things. Belt width, 16, 18, 19" wheel, or even which fender mounting bolts you use. I've seen 200s on the softails. No need for more then that, really, especially when it comes to repalcement. Then again, I'm a skinny-tired, ols school fan.

I gotta friend with a 1999 fatboy with a 200mm under the rear. It's basically all the parts used on the newer bikes.

160 would be the biggest tire you can install on there. Check for rubbing on the inside of the fender frequently as it can and might rub the wiring for the taillight and signals. I'd do a 150 just for simplicity sake.
