'09 Fatboy - New pipes

New to the forum as of this week, and am looking to upgrade my '09 Fatboy stock pipes with something that has a little bit more soul to it. Not wanting to break the bank, so does anyone have suggestions??

I have the Freedom Performance "Indepedence" on my '07 Fat Boy. They are similar to V & H Short Shots. Very nice pipes and the price was fantastic.

Products Freedom Performance Exhaust

I have Vance and hines on my 08 fatboy. Great sound you will not be disappointed. I also have the stage one done, I believe you have to have this done to put new pipes on. Good luck.

Go to a local biker hang out and listen and look at some pipes before purchasing. I have found that it is more important to get what you want the first time around or it ends up costing a lot more dough. Exhaust is too subjective of a mod to really figure out online, at least for most people.

I agree it is very subjective but for what its worth. I had V&H big radius with a heavy breather, race tuner, and dyno. Made a huge difference and I really liked the setup and sound. On a 09 Fatboy.

07 fatboy pipes

I installed Khrome Werks 3" slip ons,on my 07 Fatboy, best sound I have heard from any of the manufacturers. Nice heavy burble, sort of like glass paks on the older hot rods. Real good construction .Go check them out on their web site, you can order through drag Specialties.
