1. depends on your comfortable riding position
2. depends on your heigth and arm length
3. depends on what you like...it is your bike
4. this is one of the subjects that has been beaten to death, have you tried the search function?
5. why didn't you post an intro in the new to the community section once joining our forum

now that you've properly intro'ed yourself, I am sure many folks will jump in here. but you really need to get a feel that is right for you, not what somone else recommends. I am 6 foot tall, have a 98 fatboy, I have 20 inch apes on mine with 1.5 inch risers. and my apes are 39 inches wide....for me, it's comfy, but I have a couple friends close to same height and build, who don't like the feel of my apes. you just need to find a "feel" that is right for you

you can make a set of test bars out of PVC, then try various sizes till you get the one that YOU think fits you the best, then go buy that size. This will save you from buying a set of bars based on what others say they like and may or may not fit you. Just a suggestion but it gives you an idea of what you might want in a set of bars without having to buy them first.

i agree, easier on your back, neck, hands. much more nimble and super responsive due to weight transfer and it looks cool
