No.....pull, pull. Like an Asian whore house.......

No cable pushes. Throttle cable pulls the throttle cam, as the throttle cam pulls the idle cable. Idle cable pulls the throttle cam back, as the throttle cable is pulled back by the throttle cam.

Go turn your throttle and watch the right side of your carb and watch the cables.

Same for carbs or efi.

Back To original question

Dave

On my Heritage I just got the throttle handle goes very very easy. I would like it to go alittle harder because if you just bump the thing it rev's. Is there anyway to make it go harder? Is the spring on the throttle body shaft weak or is that spring just for throttle return???? Can anyone with a Heritage Classic chime in. Does the throttle on all Heritages go so easy???

The throttle return spring can't be adjusted. Increasing it can prematurely wear the throttle shaft bushing causing a vacuum leak.

What I would recommend is adding a touch of play into the throttle cable. (Cable in front of the throttle) if you have the cable adjusted to zero play, that has a tendency to make the throttle really touchy.

Adj Throttle

What is the best way to adjust it since I didn't have it apart and is it easy???It has no play.

@Dave

Not sure it was ever made clear, but I think he has a 2011 Heritage. Isn't that an electronic throttle model?
