Softail Custom 2007 Seat/ sissybar

Ok, so I just bought a 2007 Softail Custom in showroom condition with 3500 true miles on the clock. Pristine! Just needed to change the battery.
After wrestling with the seat, and winning, the battery is replaced, but the bigger problem is that my old lady doesn't like the excuse for a sissybar. Does anyone have some ideas on how to change the (very comfortable seat) for another readily available seat, considering that the fitting on a custom is very unconventional?
Help is needed...

Mustang, Corbin, Danny Gray, among others come to mind.
I do not believe the "fitting" is any different on the Custom then on any other Softail of similar year(s).

Maybe take a good look at them 10 year old tires too.

As for the seat, it seems that the sissy bar is the war departments issue.
Why change seat and not sissy bar?

The fitting is different. There's a screw into the rear mudguard on almost all Softails: Heritage, fatboy, etc... Custom has two acorn nuts that connect the whole seat to the sissybar! It's crazy!

Not going to swear to it.
But are you sure that is a factory seat?

Looks like maybe a 2 piece as well.

That thing leans way too far back. I would ditch the seat and get a separate seat and sissybar instead of that combination. Looks great but it also looks like it leans back too far to be comfortable
