Tune or Not

2012 fatboy stage one.

Have KN stage one with stock cover. Just bought the se heavy breather (cone shaped), and twisted slot cover.

Will I necessarily have to re-tune.

Thank you in advance for your input.

if none of the parts you install ARE NOT performance, then they don't change anything. a bone stock bike would benefit adding more fuel and bringing the afr down about 1 to like a 13.7-1 will add a little hp maybe 2 or 3 and will run a little cooler. nothing you will feel by the seat of your pants. MPG will drop a few also.

Thinking about KN air filter (only) at this time, tell me what KN part number filter you were running.
Thanks.

I have a 2012 Fat Boy Lo with Stage I air intake, V&H Side Shots, with SESPT. I replaced the stock air cleaner cover and now my SE air filter is open, which created a more lean condition as evidenced by more popping.
I took the bike and had it dyno tuned and what a difference!
If it pops or pings, you may need a tune.
