I do like the wind shield on the heritage, and the bigger rear seat looks like it would be more comfortable for the passenger. Just looking at the bikes, for some reason I always go back to the deluxe, I cant figure it out, it is not the white walls drawing me in, that would be the first thing I would change, not a white wall fan. I think I will try to get a Heritage, I am hoping that I can find a great deal on one this winter.

I love my deluxe. Its very classic. The thing I like most is its opened up belt guard and rear tire, no bags. The thing I don't like is no bags. So with that being said maybe I can't make my mind up about bags. I do have a roll bag for extras. As for white walls, everyone has their opinion. Opinions are what helps bad land sell and ugly girls marry.

The Heritage allows you a passenger with a sissy bar on back. Also the storage is nice. I loved mine but moved up to a Limited.

I love the Deluxe. My buddy loves his Heritage. We're both right. You win.

Winter is usually a good time to hunt for deals. I found my '07 Heritage on Craigslist back in January of this year. I had to travel 5 hours to get her but it was worth it. She was in immaculate condition with only 5,200 on the clock. Paid $12,400 in cash and trailered her home. Since I've had her I've put over 13,000 trouble-free miles on her and love every minute of it.

Come to think of it.... Since the Heritage has all the things the Deluxe doesn't have....and they are the same bikes otherwise.....Maybe Harley should have named the Heritage the Deluxe.....and the Deluxe the Heritage.?.?.?
