Heritage Or Deluxe
Hello, like in a previous thread about choices, I to have been going back and forth. What are the differances between the Heritage Classic, and the Softail Deluxe? Does one hold its value better than the other? Is it just the bags on the Heritage, or the whitewalls on the deluxe? From what I see, is it just cosmetics, or are there other differances that are more than cosmetic? Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Cosmetics only. Same bike. Trim differences.

i have a black 2013 deluxe. i love it because the tires are wide white walls, the bars a different, the mufflers are long shots. it does not have bags or a windshild. I added both already.
Hope this helps.

Same bike, different looks.
Personally I like the Deluxe better, but I am a huge sucker for white walls.

My body was more comfortable just sitting on the showroom floor on the Heritage than the Classic.
I would have added saddle bags and wind shield and the thicker passenger seat with back rest. It was cheaper to get the Heritage plus it already had the rush 2.0 and I would have done that also.
The only thing I've added is the guardian bell. I don't plan to make any other changes and I'm money ahead. AND I'M THRILLED WITH THE BIKE

I have a Deluxe and love it but added a shield (really don't use much anymore since I like the wind) and bags and it's more like a Heritage now.

Go with the Heritage. It's more bang for the buck plus it's cheaper to take off a windshield and bags if you alike.

+1 on what emmojo said. Also, and it's just my personal opinion, white walls on a motorcycle look shitty, and on cages too for that matter.

Yep the Heritage is the choice I made for the same reasons as listed above.
