R G,
With or without a windshield?

HD or aftermarket?

Does the front wheel spin true?

Is the drive belt tracking close to being centered on the rear pulley?

Does the belt squeak or make any noise?

Change tire pressure, check pinch bolts on forks, adjust steering head bearings, loose spokes.

All good things to check, thanks guys! No spokes, solid wheels! Wiggled once with the windshield off and once with it on! It has a quick disconnect! (Detachable) HD Brand! The belt does not squeek! It does have Anti-Lock brakes, my Ultra does not, I don't like the Anti-Locks either! I am buying a Pitbull brand jack,(On Sale now!) so will check the things I need to check when on a jack! This bike has less than 200 miles on her, and don't think I wanna put too many more on her before this is fixed. I should have given it back in retrospect, but it's 3 months old now!

We bought it because not too many Anniversary models of the FatBoy are out there, and The Boss loves it, and wanted it badly! Once this is straightned out I will post the fix! It just gripes me to No End that this problem was not fixed by the dealership!!!

Your nicer than me...cause I would go up in the dealer and make a complete arse out of my self till the thing was fixed or be riding another new bike...they would fix it ,just to get me to leave...

You know, in my younger years I was more of a firestorm when this stuff happened, I guess I am too mellow in my old age!!!

BTW, I have the White Hot Pearl paint on my 2012 Ultra as well!

......And, I drove by that huge Jesus statue, many times in my travels, through Texas!!!

Check the axle nuts also, any play in the wheel bearings? Take to another dealer, or back to same dealer. Service departments and techs vary in quality.

Agreed, with a brand new bike and a warranty I'd be looking for another dealer and at least the problem will be documented. A friend of mine bought a brand new SE RG had an electrical problem the dealer could not fix, harley sent a tech to the shop, problem solved. I found a few loose bolts on my bike, the entire clutch, mirror switch assembly unbolted as I was riding, had to stop every 100 ft or so to thumb screw them back in til I got home. The steering/ wobble problem seems much more serious I would want the dealer to be responsible for the repair.good luck

Wow! I did loose a bolt to my Hard Bags on my Ultra, at 2K miles, they did replace it and put locktite on it! Seems that the Quality Assurance department needs to pay more attention at the factory, now doesn't it?

I called another dealership, and they said it was unacceptable as well! I will have them check it out as soon as I get a break in the weather here! I have been stewing over this for over 3 months now, and really don't trust getting on the thing and riding it! My dealership did bring a van to pick it up (Motorcycle Ambulance ) but tells me they found nothing!!!

Yea, I don't think my bike had 2000 miles on it when that happened, now I go over every bolt screw once in a while. I did find out the factory does not use lock tight, at least not on any parts I changed or had to retighten. I would def have dealer address your problem
