Will these rims fit a 90 Fat Boy

Can anyone tell me if the 16 inch wire spoke rims from a 2003 FLSTC will work on a 1990 FLSTF? The seller says the axle is 3/4" but I thought that after 1999 the axle was 21mm. Also, are there any other issues, like width clearance problems front or rear? Just want to make sure before I drive 60+ miles to look at them. Thanks, Bill

up to 1995, the bearings are Timken rollers at 3/4" ID.

1996 to 1999, 3/4" sealed bearings with different shim packs. (internally, in the hub)

2000 and up, 25mm ID sealed bearings, that are narrower than the 3/4" ones.

For the effort to buy new internal shim packs and bearings, it would be best to just find the right wheels.

Not to mention, your lower legs are 3/4" OD axle specs and 2000+ wheels are 25mm ID bearings, and the axle and your spacers/lower legs won't fit. Not to mention your brake rotors have too small of a hub diameter.
