I like Champion plugs.

I used them in my Shoveledheads and Panhead for years. Now I've got them in my Softie.

I like them so much I'm restoring a 50's/60's era Champion Spark Plug Cleaner/Tester machine.

When I got it:

After blasting and repaint:

No, that's not orange peel. It's hammer finish.

Not sure if I want to finish it as original or have my buddy go nuts on it with pinstripes.

I vote for pinstripes.

Does the machine still work?

The cleaner is functional, both valves and nozzles flow air. Couldn't test the spark unit before disassembly. Looked like some mice had taken up residence at one point and feasted on the power cord. But the buzz box is intact with no corrosion or signs of heavy use so hopefully it'll be OK once I put a new cord on.

More pics to follow once assembly starts this weekend.

P.S.
I too am leaning towards the pinstripes.
