I know I'm old because back in the 60's motorcycles came with adjustable levers. (At least the ones I could afford did.) There was a round do-hickey that allowed the lever to be moved closer to the hand grip. I guess they figured people were getting bigger and these were not needed any longer. Progress? That's too bad. Now they seem to cost a small fortune if they are not "Out of stock".

My wife is also a little over 5' and has small hands. We just picked up a 2011 XL883 Super Low and the levers are really angled so she has no problem with the clutch or front brake. Now getting pull backs seems to be another issue and also expensive.

You can git pullback risers for a lot less than new bars.

Something to Ponder,,,
Pull backs will cause me to have a Speedo and Tach stickin up and back,,,

I want my Grips an Inch n a half up and back,,
Clutch and throttle cables will be ok,
Front brake line off the master cyclinder will need to be longer..

No for me I want just bars with more height and pull back.
Then I can go with Black Bars and change that damn bright ass chrome
one piece handle bar clamp cover In the middle..

It's gotta be black, the dang thang blinds me when the sun hits It.

Im serious,,It's a real Issue for me.

Adjustable levers

Should receive a set of adjustable levers today from Oberon Performance in the UK. I tried Metal Arts, but their site shows "out of stock" and I received no reply from them.

I'll let y'all know how it turns out once I install them.
