plastic harley fender
so I won a 2003 fender for my old bike it came in today looked and the friggin thing is plastic, so has harley ever made a plastic fender or did i get shafted? It was only 31 bucks and the 100th anniversary emblem was real so I am a little confused.
here is a pic anyone see this befor?

How could you win it when you payed 31 bucks?? No far as I know HD has never opted for plastic fenders

uh i always have said I won the auction guess I should say I was the highest bidder. what is strange is the emblem is a proper h-d emblem they must of put it on to fool me, but as i looked for other emblems they go for moore than 31 bucks, so I did ok. dont need the fender and am gonna put emblem on new bike for nastalga in rememberance of my first Harley

I think he means he won his auction for the piece... There's been tons of cheap Chinese-duplicated mdse on eBay lately I've noticed.
Look at the unit location... avoid "China".

That's an aftermarket fender that someone placed an anniversary emblem on. It's not OEM. HD's only plastic rear fender was on the tail of the original 1971 Superglide.
As well.....100th anniversary has a gold leafy type stripe on it, and not just the emblem.
The answer to your question is: Shafted.
What you got was this: A cafe front fender.
