Iron, Nightster two seat conversion

I have been looking at many different cruiser style bikes hope to narrow my decision down soon. I want to know about making a Nightster or a Iron into two seater. Any information would be very helpful. Thanks

Buying a 2 up seat is not a problem.. then you will have to add passenger pegs and the slope of the nightster will more than likely also require a sissybar/backrest for your passenger. Don't want her slippin off..

The nightster is designed as a solo bike. You can add these mods for a passenger, but i would not recommend it for any length of a ride. She's not going to be very comfortable, unless she is really really small. You may be ok just driving into town for dinner or something. Expect some bottoming out unless you upgrade the suspension. I bottomed out on my 1200 low (I weigh 200 and my lady is 125). The MAX weight capacity for a Nightster is 400lbs. I wouldn't push it that far.

If you plan on doing a lot of 2-up riding, I recommend no less than a 1200. We can go for several hours on my 1200, but it's not an all day bike.

just my 2 cents..
