What is it that you're attempting to do ? First off 1200 pistons won't fit into 883 jugs without first boring the jugs . By grinding are you meaning milling ? If you're taking material off the heads the compression ratio goes up . Or by grinding are you meaning taking material out of the combustion chamber to gain 8cc of volume which will decrease compression ratio .

if your talking about releaving the combustion chamber for decreasing compresion,i pic aint going to do you any good.you must figure your target compresion in cc`s,then machine until you reach the correct cc amount.your better off getting reverse dome pistons
