idle cable

O.K., so I am a Klutts. the throttle cable was pretty easy, but the idle cable ( the back cable ) is tough to get to and even tougher to alight the cable end with the throttle. I am hoping someone out there has a trick on how to get this cable installed.
Thanks

Like Dixie said ...but this is too easy . Make sure the adjusters are all the way loose then put the rear cable on first !!!

Put all the slack in both cables as you can, and when you go to install it on the carb's cable cam (linkage thing on the side of the carb where the cables ride on) , roll the cam back like you're at WOT. Apply the cable end, then let the cam go.

WOT= Wide Open Throttle

Now, adjust both your cables, as per the manual.
