Front fork Suspension..
Just thinking.. my front end is really squirrely on some of these roads around here.. I'd like to get a fork brace and upgrade the springs this winter.
Any suggestions? Are progressive springs the best to go with? Can someone share their experience?
Thanks!

As long as it's not a tire issue, look into the Progressive front fork kit. Drops 1-2" in about 45 minutes of work. Depending on mileage, fluid change is a good idea too, but I don't believe the new sporties have drain screws any more, requiring to to taken them off and turn them upside down to drain them..... (not positive)
A fork brace makes almost any bike feel more "planted" on uneven roads.

But what if you want to raise the front a little?
I'm playin' with the idea of puttin' on 2" over stock tubes to gain a little travel room. Wanna keep the fork bag off the front fender.
Will I need to raise the back as well?
I'm gettin' a Superbrace for sure, too.

I was a little concerned about the lowering too..
I put the RK shocks on the rear, so it raised me up an inch to 13 inches. (I have a 1200 Low). The stock was 12 inches..
So, I go up an inch in the rear and down 2 in the front? I'm not sure what that would do for the handling..
I thought about using some lowering blocks on the rear.. going down 2 inches (1 inch below stock).. but I heard that makes the dynamics of the suspension work a little different. So I dunno what i want to do right now..
any suggestions?
