Flat Glass Mirrors
Can anybody give me a clue where I can find some regular flat glass mirrors for a 2010 Sportster? I can't tell what the heck is behind me or how fast it's approaching with the stock convex mirrors. I have searched Google and Bing with no luck yet. I would actually love some mirrors with mostly flat mirror and a small patch of convex for the blind spot.

I had the same problem on my Sportster. Put on the "Live to Ride" Harley mirrors on the long stems and it made a huge difference. No convex portion but haven't needed it so far.

Have you priced what a "glass shop" would charge to change out the mirror glass in your stock units yet? It may be less than cheap new mirrors unless you want a different look. I tried the round Nolstalgic mirrors, w/flat glass, on my Deluxe. The distance issue was solved, but I lost so much "view" that I changed back and found, in a short time, I could judge distance in the mirrors better. I never really trust a mirror anyway so the head turn and look really takes care of the distance deal. Just a thought.

I think with a little more time, I'll get used to the convexes. I THINK....
