Hey yeah.... Long time no updates....


I've been pretty busy with work and summer time pursuits to really spend much time with the old IH, but it's getting cool around here again so I'll be spending more time in the garage soon.

Bottom end is out with a local guy getting rebuilt and trued and the rotating assembly is getting balanced. I'm still picking up Andrews parts for the transmission and also got my hands on a hydraulic actuator to replace that crappy ball and ramp. Picked up a Morris MM2 magneto for the IH, fits right in the tach drive, should be interesting.
Looking forward to winter in the garage.

I also have a new distraction in the garage...

1980 80" with House of Horsepower cases, currently in pieces in the garage.

You bet I have.
However, in my infinite "Electrical" wisdom, I did inadvertently fry the generator...
So I just got her back on the road this past week.

That thing is just an absolute blast!

Wow. Im shocked,amazed,scared and excited all at the same time. Im just starting a build on the exact same bike. As I just read through this entire post Ive learned quite a bit so thank you so much for that. You have also inspired me to post and make a thread about my build and include many pics as well. Looking good and hope you have it ready for the summer of 2013.

I'd like to think its maiden voyage will be in 2013 but I think that's optimistic, hopefully this winter is a productive one for my projects.
