On a serious note, I'm glad it all worked out. How long of a drive was it to Schmidtys?

It only took them an hour and a half from the Heights. Good freeways from the Chicago area up to North of Milwaukee ! I'm only like 15 minutes North of down town Milwaukee ! Right off I-43.
I have to add... the bike is still running sweet !

I ran the Sporty a bunch of times today with no problems yet, still want to take it for a short ride to make sure everything else is working good. It's warming up this week so I'll get out on it yet !
I went home early to watch the Packers kick ass...again !!!
Bears are still on a roll too !!!

I used to attend the Corvette show at Ernie Von Sheldon. You close to that dealer?

If you were at the EVS Vette show on Hy.32 in Port Washington my shop is 2 buildings South, next to Fastenall.
That EVS has closed up but the Vette show is still held there.

That's it. What a small world. Went up there a few years in a row.
No more Vette. The only reason I go to Port Washington now is for the smoked Chubbs.

Update: Finally got the Sporty out for a ride today, kinda cold like 38* but dry. The bike ain't jetted for this temp but once warmed up it runs like a champ ! A real nice rideing Sporty ! Kris is coming to pick it back up this Sunday.
On a side note, nobody should have to drive hundreds of miles to get their bikes fixed right. That's crazy !!!
I didn't work any miracles either !

You da Man .
And you're right...it's a sad state of affairs when an official HD dealership can't even diagnose and repair a simple problem .
