My findings...
At 2,500 miles I added the X14ieD's,
Bike started and ran way way better,,smoother, cooler,,
Next day I swapped the roach oil for synthetic,
bike started faster, would spin up faster,,all the way to max Q,,
thats about 5500 rpm's,,well actually 5250,,
At 3,500 miles I adjusted the clutch per the service book,
I felt a difference, a big diff..
At 3,700 miles I cleaned the stock air filter and cleaned and
re-gapped the plugs, making shure all edges were flat and square.
I felt a difference, a big diff..
At 5,000 miles an old pro stuck his head down next to my Mill,,,,
Said, "Change the primary fluid" I did,,
I felt a difference, a big diff..
Tranny got smoother and alot quieter Instantly,,
Note: Bel Ray Sportster fluid sucked, took it out at 80 miles,
Put In HD formula +
I will never run anything else.
So Yeah,,all this means I am using ALL of my go juice.
This Is why I can notice such small Increment performance Increases
along the way.
You also gotta remember that I was aware of a constant Increase
in performance as the engine got more miles.
IMO It was fully broken In at about 3,000 miles.
