My 2005, 883 gets about 35-45 on the highway, depending on wind and terrain. A lot less around town.

At 70 mph near the 45, at 75-80 mph nearer to the 35.

The Sportster just isn't a very efficient motor.

Well, I don't know about other states, but, in California it's 75-80 mph or get ran over. So, 40 mpg for me.

2012 883 Superlow after 6500 miles had dropped to 48 - 49 mpg average

treated with Seafoam and back up to 51 - 53 mpg using 91 octane no ethanol.

My RGU has gotten to the point that I now need to siphon out a gallon every 100 miles or so.

so far on my iron I average about 45-47 mpgs. Its still breaking in too. So Im guessing once I get synthetic in all around and the engine breaks in more it might get better.

I dont ride too hard.

In NYC traffic, I average 95 miles per tank - never ran out of gas though maybe I can squeeze 4, 5 miles more

In highway riding I easily top 150+ miles per tank - again never ran out add 5, 10 miles to that
