Not trying to step on your thread Red, but I think this one is better suited for the Harley owners. This fellow does a decent job of it in three parts. One thing I don't think he hits upon is it is much better/easier to break the cap and the lower bolt free before loosening the tree pinch bolts. He is working on a Big Twin fork, but the Sportster is the same with the exception of the size of pvc pipe used to seat the seals on the 39mm tubes.
