Not kidding, this is me, tonight, back from work! Mon, Tue & Thr I have iaido practice after work; so I carry my stuff with me. That's a katana and a bokken on my shoulder bag, and my hakama and gi in the overnight bag. I was so amused by the looks of Christmas shoppers in the city taking my pictures as I got off the office that I asked her majesty to come down and snap a few pictures of me fresh off the horse.
your pictures are real dark but if you can stand out as peculiar in NYC they must be strange.
that's my wifey's stupido iphone-o trying to take pictures at night time. what a piece of crap that thing is "peculiar, strange" are terms I love when used in conjunction with my activities. thank you
I thought you were posting gibberish!! I see NOW that you are training for a subway ride!!
I am seriously thinking about starting a security seminar where the sole concept will be the "buddy system for riding NYC subways." You need eyes on the back of your head if you want to survive here. We just upped the ante from "wow a day without a murder in NYC" to "one thrown onto train tracks; one got executed on Columbus square; one fell onto the tracks" in a row pretty quick here.
Location: On a good clear day, I can ALMOST see "Normal" from here!

Looks as if you are quite busy up there!
Try to stay safe, cause, they are all out to get ya!

love your bike and the holiday shot! on a side note, its cool to meet someone else who studied iado. I actually did iado only for a brief period...like 6 months...it was a natural offshoot when I was active in kendo....been studying that for almost 20 years. thx for sharing your pics and stories.

likewise khui; thank you. and here's more fun stuff for you - that ties to riding of course.
This is from the last sword retreat I did in Delaware water gap this past September.
