I would think a small kit wouldn't be too bad, but with small block chevys, if we were puttin anything more than a quickshot on the motor, we always used forged pistons. Now here is my ignorance, does a stock evo or twin cam have forged or cast pistons?

One of these days, I'll do that myself, but at a much less nutty level,
so's I can use it a lot more.

I think a 10hp shot any time the throttle opens wide enough
to trigger "manifold vacuum is zero" switch

and about another 20 hp at WFO might be tolerable nuttiness.

.
Thanks to everyone for all for the input.

In regards to the Nitrous suggestion have you done this yourself and if so can you recommend a kit and roughly what kind of bucks I would be looking at. I'm in BC, Canada by the way but I will probably order from the US as it will be alot.... cheaper I'm sure.
Would there be any problems using it with the stock Harley 883 coverted to 1200 as far as pistons, cylinders, etc goes?
As you can tell I don''t have a clue when it comes to nitrous so the more info I can get before hand the better. Like what determines how much the engine intakes, manually done or electronic or?

Many thanks!!!
